firma dell'artista
He is one of the greatest living South American sculptors, creating works that highlight both the development of organic forms modified by the environment, gravity and growth, and influences of pre-Columbian art. His artistic work is permanently exhibited in important museums, such as Boca Raton in Florida and San José in Costa Rica, as well as in many prestigious art galleries. His most important project is the statue of San Marcelino Champagnat placed on the external façade of St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. His last monumental work is the statue of Pope John Paul II, placed in the Basilica of San José in Costa Rica.
